Smith Valley School is hiring four (4) 1.0 FTE Certified Teachers.
All applicants need to be K-8 certified.
A background in music is preferred for one of the four open positions.
A library endorsement is required for one of the four open positions.
Benefits include: sick leave, personal leave, health/dental/vision/life insurance, TRS (Teachers' Retirement System).
Pay is DOE. The salary schedule can be found in the Certified MOA on the website here.

Substitutes are always welcome and in short supply!
Please consider subbing for Smith Valley!
$50 per 1/2 day or $100 per full day for a teacher sub! $14.29/hour for a para sub!
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of approximately 195 wonderful students. They will be joining a team of highly dedicated and motivated staff.
Smith Valley School is a rural K-8 school district 5 miles west of Kalispell on Highway 2. We are located in the beautiful Flathead Valley, just minutes away from Glacier National Park, the Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail Ski Resorts, and hundreds of lakes.
