The Basketball Coach organizes and supervises practices; provides instruction through coaching the skills and best practices of basketball; attends and coaches the team at home and away games; accompanies the team during transport to and from away games when a bus is available; supervises all students until a parent/guardian picks them up after a game or practice if Puddle Jumpers isn't available; communicates professionally with parents, school leaders, and referees; works closely with other athletic staff to ensure the success of the team; teaches good sportsmanship; and makes sure the team represents Smith Valley School in a positive manner.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of approximately 195 wonderful students. They will be joining a team of highly dedicated and motivated staff.
Smith Valley School is a rural K-8 school district 5 miles west of Kalispell on Highway 2. We are located in the beautiful Flathead Valley, just minutes away from Glacier National Park, the Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail Ski Resorts, and hundreds of lakes.
