Each day, students may bring a sack lunch or purchase hot lunch.  Smith Valley School offers an excellent hot lunch program, cooked by the staff at Kila school.  The cost is $2.65 for full price, and for those who qualify for free or reduced--the reduced price is $0.40.  One milk is included in all hot lunches, whether free, reduced or full price.  Lunch tickets must be purchased in advance, in increments of 5, 10 or 20 lunches.  We will notify you when your child gets down to three or fewer lunches remaining.

 

Students may also purchase a milk if they bring their own lunch.  The cost of milk is 25 cents. 

 

All lunches have the same size in portions.  Student lunches--even at the full price, are subsidized by the state.  Adult lunches are not.  Thus, though the price for an adult lunch is $3.15, the portions are not greater than those of the students.
