feelings and eating habits are related. It will focus on making healthy choices and

A note to parents

Group counseling offers students a great deal. It provides a safe place for kids to try new

behaviors, share their thoughts with others, get to know others more closely, belong to something

special, get help from students their own age, and learn that others have feelings like their own.

In addition, students build the skills such as: communication, listening, confidence and decision-
making.

Groups meet 6–8 times. We do our best to rotate group times so students do not miss important

classtime. Students may sign up for groups early in the school year, but participation is limited

to one group per year to give everyone a chance to participate. If you have questions about any

group, please call  756-4535.
